Does the Reel download with sound?
Yes, sound included, in one file. The reason this needs stating is that Instagram sometimes delivers a Reel as two separate streams — picture and audio apart — and a downloader that takes only the first one hands you a silent clip. It looks fine until you press play. VidKeep detects that case and merges the tracks before the download starts, so what you save is a normal MP4 with the original audio, including the trending track if the Reel used one. Vertical framing is kept as it was posted. This works for public accounts only: if a profile is private, the post stays private, and we will not ask you to log in to work around that. Reels posted as a carousel come back as separate files, one per slide, so a multi-part post does not lose its later clips. Nothing is installed, and the link you paste is never stored in a readable form.
Can I save Reels from a private account?
