Does the video come with sound?
Yes. Facebook usually serves video and audio as one combined file, so most downloads arrive complete without any extra work on our side. When a post is delivered as split streams — which happens with some higher-quality uploads — VidKeep merges them before sending the file, so the outcome is the same for you either way: one MP4 that plays with sound in any player. You do not need the Facebook app, an account, or a browser extension; pasting the post link is enough. What will not work is anything behind a login: private groups, friends-only posts and content restricted by region stay closed, because we never ask for or use your credentials to reach them. Live broadcasts also need to finish and be published as ordinary videos first; while a stream is still running there is no complete file to save yet, which is a limit of how Facebook serves live content rather than something we can work around.
